Sarah Palin starts her own Political Action Committee. Is this in preperation for 2012?

Sarah Palin has set up a PAC called SarahPAC. Political action committees collect money from donors and spend it on worthy causes–like electing the people they are named after. The new Website does not specify which people are to be elected to which offices, however. It merely has vague talk about rejuvenating the Republican Party (English translation: it is considered poor form to announce you are running for President before the midterm elections; collecting money is fine though).

Just in case anybody forgot how big Alaska is, the site’s logo shows Alaska superimposed on the contiguous 48 states, completely obliterating Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, and South Dakota as well as parts of other states.

    1. spend the next two years fighting desperately for relevance by obstructing everything people want done, losing catastrophically in 2010, and then run Sarah Palin in 2012? You mean I never have to donate another dollar or knock on another door for the rest of my life?

Ahem, allow me to repeat something I first said a few days ago.

Did I win? Did I WIN? SON-OF-A-BITCH! GOD LIKES ME! HE REALLY, REALLY, LIKES ME! WHAT A DAY! WHAT A FABULOUS DAY!

              1. It’s hard to find the right tone for how frightening this trillion-dollar floater is to me.

It really goes against everything I believe about economics, so it shakes me up a little.

                1. Sounds like the famous Thomas Jefferson quote, “A government big enough to give you everything you want is big enough to take away everything you have,” which actually came from Gerald Ford.

                  1. Get it together history.

I have one that fits for LB in irony and overall appropriateness:

“Rule 6: The winning team shall be the first team that wins.”

                    Rules of Brockian Ultra Cricket

    2. as soon as enough people donate.

There’s a great reason she creates irrational hatred and paranoia in just the right people…

Actually I think the emotion is closer to gut-busting incredulity.

      1. Kind of pales in comparison to a $170 million inaugural, doesn’t it.

I love Palin for the sheer fact that she makes the right people insane with irrational hatred.

        1. Should we start with a war based on lies that has cost us over $12 billion per month according to MSNBC, then add Haliburton, Blackwater and a missing truck with 1 million in it (or some such number, no one knows, cause we can’t find it).

$170 million, ok, donated by people who wanted it spent on the WORLD’S most historic moment.

And yes, Palin is still an idiot and yes, as a women she makes me insane.  Nothing to do with hatered, just stupidity…kind of rubs me like Lamborn and Ted Haggard. Not that Ted rubbed me mind you – I’m not his type, neither male or addicted to meth.

          1. remember when these ‘fashion’ designers said that Cindy’s outfit was over 200k.

Not even a house is that expensive…a couple k yeah, but that is unheard of really!
